Lounge/ Club Manager

Job Description

The Pubx Manager will be responsible for the overall management, profitability, operations, and customer experience of the lounge and club. The role requires a highly experienced nightlife professional with strong operational, revenue-generation, customer relationship, and team management skills to ensure the smooth functionality and commercial success of the business. The ideal candidate must possess strong business acumen, be grounded in nightlife operations, understand premium customer engagement, and have the ability to attract, retain, and manage high-value clientele and strategic networks within the entertainment and hospitality ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
  • Oversee the daily operations and overall functionality of the lounge and club.
  • Ensure smooth coordination of all units including bar, kitchen, security, DJ/entertainment, hostess, VIP, customer service, and facility management.
  • Maintain operational efficiency, ambience, cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise opening and closing procedures and ensure compliance with company standards.
2. Revenue Generation & Business Growth
  • Drive revenue generation through strategic nightlife programming, VIP engagement, events, and promotions.
  • Develop strategies to increase customer traffic, bottle sales, table reservations, and repeat patronage.
  • Identify partnership opportunities and high-value market segments.
  • Meet assigned sales and revenue targets.
3. Nightlife & Customer Relationship Management
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of nightlife operations, entertainment culture, premium hospitality, and customer preferences.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with high-spending customers, influencers, premium clientele, event organizers, and nightlife communities.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience for VIP and regular customers.
4. Staff Leadership & Discipline
  • Recruit, supervise, and manage operational staff.
  • Enforce discipline, dress code, attendance, professionalism, and service standards.
  • Conduct performance monitoring and implement corrective measures where necessary.
  • Coordinate staff scheduling and workforce productivity.
5. Financial Oversight
  • Monitor daily sales, cash flow, expenses, and stock utilization.
  • Prevent revenue leakages and operational inefficiencies.
  • Work closely with finance/accounts to ensure proper financial reporting and accountability.
6. Event & Brand Management
  • Coordinate weekly/nightly events, themed nights, entertainment schedules, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to improve visibility and brand engagement.
  • Ensure Pubx maintains a premium and competitive market presence.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management, Hospitality Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years proven experience in nightlife, hospitality, club, lounge, or entertainment management.
  • Strong understanding of nightclub/lounge operations and nightlife culture.
  • Proven experience in revenue driving, customer retention, and operational management.
