Full Stack Developer

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in PHP and Laravel, with solid frontend development skills and the ability to build, maintain, and optimize scalable web applications. The successful candidate will work closely with designers, product managers, QA, and other team members to deliver secure, high-performing, and user-friendly applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel/PHP.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
  • Write clean, secure, reusable, and well-documented PHP and JavaScript code.
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Alpine.js.
  • Work with MySQL and other relational databases.
  • Implement authentication and authorization systems using technologies such as OAuth, JWT, Laravel Sanctum, or Passport.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, QA, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in code reviews, software testing, and continuous integration workflows.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Maintain version control using Git/GitHub/GitLab.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and modern software development best practices.


Job Requirement

  • Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel; Laravel 8+ preferred.
  • Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience with at least one JavaScript framework/library such as Vue.js, React, or Alpine.js.
  • Practical experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
  • Good understanding of REST APIs, AJAX, and JSON.
  • Proficiency with Git and version control systems.
  • Strong understanding of MVC architecture and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Experience implementing authentication and authorization systems.
  • Basic knowledge of web servers and deployment environments such as Apache, Nginx, Laravel Forge, or Docker.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with any of the following will have an added advantage:
  • Experience with Laravel Livewire or Inertia.js.
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS.
  • Knowledge of PHPUnit or Pest for unit and feature testing.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience working on production-level applications and third-party integrations.
